Detective Jack S. Jackson, supposedly one of the city's 'finest', just seems to like an easy life. While he swans around the city 'investigating' the spate of recent break-ins, we all wait and wonder where the next is going to happen and if there's anything more serious behind the theft of all of these religious artifacts. If following the good Detective shows us anything it would now be worth warning the owner and patrons of Johnny's Bar (the Eastside watering hole where Jackson regularly frequents - during working hours) that they're probably next on the hit list.

Why is there such an argument over faith and whether it is right or wrong to believe in a higher power than ourselves? Why do men of faith allow those without to sully their image in the eyes of the Lord Almighty? Why can we not share the proof that the Lord exists with all men. If we did this (if we PROVED this), then surely all the people of the world would unite and live in harmony as one...

The belief in a Creator is a fundamental part of what makes us human beings. To believe in God (be it under the banner of Christianity, Islam, Judaism etc.) gives us meaning and a reason to live. Without faith we would fail to understand what it is to be human. A much respected friend of mine once said that:

“To be without faith is to be like a dog without a leash - just another angry animal on his way to the abatoir of damnation.”
