A buildiing known both for its historical architecture and vast library of religious texts, the church of St. Nicholas is a place of worship for the cityfolk and, for Wesley Carrington in particular, a place that can hold painful memories of former glory. 

Located on the upper east side of the city the church is in a quiet part of the neighbourhood, perfect for those moments when visitors seek a moment of quiet solitude for contemplation when the daily grind gets to be too much. As well as this, St. Nicholas' church is a place of mystery and may hold the key to solving the identity and purpose of the Magician.
